Well, in the case of Billy Childish, ex Stuckists, unless one sees the term in the wider sense of an artistic position outside of formal group affiliation, e.g. as with Salvador Dali, who was expelled from the Surrealists, but will always be one. I think history will attribute classification in a similar way to people in the Stuckist environs.

ReplyDeletewe ( catalonian stuckist and Hartismo, groups of spanish stuckists) have decided not to publish anything (links to conceptual pages o similar)or advertising them, just ignore them, they want a confrontation , but no make art

ReplyDeletePienso que es una buena idea reírse de las conceptualistas porque necesitamos reírnos de ellos y de su arte tonto. El público necesita entender que existamos (stuckistas, remodernistas)...¿Si somos silencioso, cómo podemos ser oídos? Sin embargo, respeto su deseos.

ReplyDeleteYo tambien opino que es buena idea reirse de ellos pero tambien sin darles excesiva importancia a ellos les encanta el debate y los shows, Barcelona como dice Avelina es la meca del arte conceptual.
